1.What first got you into music?
My Father would tell me how I was as A baby as my tears progress until i grew our of it. I would always cry for him when he puts me into my crib. I would turn my tears into musical sounds and I think from there I knew I would be A singer. In my early teens I asked him how do I start writing music and he told me poetry. He’s A poetry author, and he has A book out now called “Mirrors of Imagination”, by Jeffery Allen Samuels.
2.Who inspired you to make music?
Myself of course, My Father, The legendary Princess Aaliyah Dana Haughton, Da Brat, Mc Lyte, Queen Latifah, Lauren Hill, Kci and Jo Jo, Mary Mary, Destiny’s Child, and many more.
I just enjoy music and it’s definitely one of my passions.
3.How would you describe the music that you typically create?
At first I started with R & B/ Hip Hop, but I noticed that I had A very unique sound.
I started to try different genres to see if it would fit me and it did perfectly. I enjoy; Pop, Country, Rock etc. You’ll definitely be hearing allot more from me.
4.What is your creative process like?
It’s in another world and I like that about me. I’m the future and I can take you where you never thought about even going. I know, it seems wild and crazy! Just hold on because this ride is definitely safe and will have you never wanting to leave.
5.Who would you most like to collaborate with? The whole family reunion such as; Da Brat, every since I met her before I gave birth. She’s one of the legends I definitely have my eyes on. MC LYTE of course, I have the huggest crush on her and her style is mad dope, and I’m excited about meeting her. Boosie, Badazz, Tink, Sza, Coi Leray, Tay Kelley Beyonce, T.I, Tiny, Ray Charles, T. I and Tiny Kids, Chris Brown, Asian Brat, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Destiny’s Child before Destiny’s child.lol, Xscape, Nick Cannon, LL Cool J, Jermaine Dupree, Timbaland, Missy Elliot, and definitely many more. 6.If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be? Young M.A would definitely be one of my first picks besides my wife MC LYTE and my girlfriend Da Brat. Lol
7.What is one message you would give to your fans? I want to thank each and every one of you for staying active with me. For believing in what I could do and becoming who I am. For those of you who look at me as your role model… I want you to get to know yourself allot more and to never throw your dreams and aspirations away. Love what you do, and like it as well! Call yourself your “Dream”, because you are definitely living it. 8.Do you sing in the shower? What songs? Yes, I sing my songs in the shower . 9.Where have you performed? I performed at Bobbie McGees in front of Da Brat, Church, A club in Chicago for Afton, and A local sports bar. Do you have any upcoming shows? Hopefully soon. I’m working on music with my daughter Cleopatra The Artist
10.How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business? The internet is extremely helpful because there’s Soooo many artists, producers, promoters that you can collab with and make magic happen. 11.What is your favorite song to perform? “Jumping Around” 12.What’s next for you? Endless CREATIONS, COLLABS, AWARDS, MUSIC VIDEOS, AWARD SHOWS, TRAVELING , AND EVERYTHING I’VE ALWAYS DREAM I CAN DO.
