What began as local relationships formed through music has rapidly evolved into a global creative network for Sacramento-based artist and producer Kiii. Fiercely dedicated to his independent roots, he is pushing the boundaries of what a self-directed career can look like with the launch of THE SIDE QUEST—an ambitious, seven-date international tour spanning three continents, four countries, and six cities.

Traveling through São Paulo, Los Angeles, Fujisawa, Tokyo, Kyoto, and London, the tour is intentionally designed to bypass traditional industry pathways. Instead of relying on a standard booking structure, the entire run was conceptualized and executed through TSE4VR, Kiii’s own independent touring agency. Rather than a cookie-cutter setlist, each stop on the tour is uniquely tailored to match the specific character and creative energy of its destination, allowing Kiii to directly engage with local artists, producers, venues, and independent music communities.

This hyper-localized philosophy extends directly into the performances themselves. While the core of the show remains consistent, no two dates will be identical. Select tour stops will feature live beat-flip sessions alongside local producers. This interactive format allows Kiii to bring his extensive experience as a producer directly into the fold, creating a real-time cultural exchange with the sounds and talents of each respective city.

The launch of THE SIDE QUEST perfectly coincides with the September 18 release of Kiii\'s newest album, THE VIEW FROM HERE. Incredibly, this marks his third full-length release within a single year, closely following his previous project, THE DOOR WITHOUT ANY WALLS. It caps off a remarkably prolific period for the independent powerhouse, who not only writes and performs but also handles the vast majority of his own production.

Recorded across international borders, THE VIEW FROM HERE serves as a sonic reflection of his expanding global network. The collaborative project brings together voices from various distinct scenes, featuring appearances by SHEEF THE 3RD, Stevie Crooks, Chi Sees, Matheus Coringa, Valente, and North Carolina\'s Yumz Awkword, who secures the album’s first official feature. Furthermore, the record highlights DMV artist Mélanje, who makes her very first rap appearance alongside Kiii.

Despite the wide array of vocal collaborations, the album\'s identity remains deeply rooted in Kiii’s production. He produced nearly the entire project solo, with “NO FREE KILOS”—featuring TSE4VR’s LoTheDemigod—standing as the sole co-produced track. The album was also shaped alongside ShawnIsADHD!, a talented producer whose own creative footprint connects Oakland to São Paulo.
